The Aquatabs 8.68 tub contains 10 tablets that are great to disinfect water containers where the water will be completely used before refilling from a suspect water source. How to use:
- Determine the volume of water that needs treating:
For water tanks that store rain or borehole water:
2500 litre tanks = 1 tablet
5000 litre tanks = 2 tablets
For water tanks that store treated municipal water:
2500 litre tanks = half a tablet
5000 litre tanks = 1 tablet
(Tablets can be broken in half as needed for other sized tanks. Also see features section above in case emergency dosage is needed.) - Wait 30 minutes – Once the Aquatabs are in your tank just wait 30 minutes for them to completely dissolve.
- Drink! – After 30 minutes your water is good to drink!
- Dosage intervals – Dose once every 7 days if in a closed tank or once every 2-3 days if in an open tank if the water is constantly used.
